It's over... now what?

Now we wait.

With Obama's impressive victory last night, all we can do is  hope that he does in fact bring the "change" he has been speaking about for months. Then again, that is all a president can do for now - especially at times like this.

Some people think that this so-called "change" will not come; he is simply promising too much. But what was he supposed to say? He wouldn't say, "Yep... I'm the guy who will probably put America into even LARGER debt. But nevermind that. Vote for me."

Come on. Most politicians cover the truth. They don't just come out and SAY something. Instead of speaking about putting America into larger debt, they say something like: "I will provide everyone with refundable tax credits." Sounds good, right? Exactly. It's at least a lot better than what he really means.

Such is politics though. You can promise the world, and instead anger the world. Obama held interviews, put out commercials, held rallies, and promoted optimism and change. We saw and heard this. Some listened, others tuned him out. Some rallied for him, and others against him.

But now, all of us can only wait.
