You Win Some, You Lose Some

Thought I'd at least update just for the sake of updating.. plus, the fact that I only work once this week leaves me with no excuse to do otherwise!

With our San Diego and Mexico trip falling through, we are looking to possibly going to Chicago for an extended weekend. Things may prove to be to busy, though. It would be nice to have a change of scenery, but I'll survive if everything doesn't happen according to plan (after all, it is my family we are talking about.. I am used to it). You win some.. and you lose some.

But, as with all lost opportunities, new ones appear. This Thursday, I am going to see Dierks Bentley in Columbus! Yes, I know.. I have been spoiled with being able to see good concerts this summer. But, hey.. if you're able to go and can afford it.. then why the heck not?!

As the month of July comes to a close, it reminds me of how school is right around the corner. This semester will be a challenging one, but fun all at once. With me taking more electives in journalism and sports marketing, I am excited to take learn as much as I can! Of course, yes, it still is school.. which means there still will be work to do. I guess all this fun concert-going stuff has to come to an end, somehow.

Again.. you win some, you lose some. Something tells me I will survive, though!
